30+ years is a long time to be behind the microphone. One would think I'd like to get out every now and then and oh, I dunno, do some grocery shopping or something. But today's prices are so scary. And the traffic.
Some of the nicest people have said some of the nicest things about my talents over the years: "Clear, articulate & explanatory, with a wonderful range of style and ability..." Other nice comments can be found on my client page. You ought to give me a try if the voice qualities you're after are 'warm, smooth, trustworthy, informative, friendly and sincere.' I'm pretty darned good doing cold reads, can sound really familiar with unique lingo, and I can speak quickly while still enunciating clearly... and without losing my teeth. If you have a few minutes, check out my demo page. The only thing not represented there is my uncanny ability to parallel park... a houseboat.
It is my rather unique background that allows me to specialize in quality voice-over for corporate media, broadcast commercials, web-based tutorials and presentations, film and video, telephony, IVR, podcasts, internet and more. |
And, because I've worked 'both sides of the glass' — not only as voice talent but also as engineer and producer — you, the client, enjoy the benefit of that wide experience.
In his role of 'Arthur' (the tipsy millionaire playboy), the late Dudley Moore said, "Isn't fun the best thing to have?" Because I, too, subscribe to that theory, I'll work either from the studio you choose, or from my own digital, CD-quality facility. We can work live via Source-Connect or ISDN, or I can record your project here at my place as you listen and direct via phone patch, after which I'll edit (if you so choose), and then deliver the file(s). And, because of that 'benefit of wide experience,' should a busy schedule keep you from directing the session, that's OK too. You can, as many Fortune 500 companies have over the years, simply email your script with audience demographic and any direction and pronunciations, and I'll give 'em a look, contact you with any questions, and then deliver the finished voice track.
Maybe then I'll go out for some groceries. |
